East Gate is an historical entrance to a city. In a similar way coffee can be a great gateway. Whether at the start of a new day, taking a moment before the day’s events, or into a conversation with a friend, pausing to catch up in the middle of the busyness.
Our East Gate coffee is a light roast blend showing off the best of the flavours in the three components. This blend will still cut through milk and can enjoyed in espresso drinks in your cafe or homes, though we’d recommend a flat white or cortado style milky drink to fully enjoy the lightness. East Gate also works well, brewed in cafetière and aeropress, the longer extraction really letting the flavours shine. The roast profile keeps some acidity in the coffee, and gives some real sweetness to the top notes.
